Nearly 20 years ago, a la mode started as a real estate software company providing tools for real estate appraisers in North America. a la mode, inc. is an industry leader in the design, development and support of real estate related software, e-commerce solutions and electronic document technologies.
a la mode is also a business partner providing real estate software and mortgage transaction technology for lenders. Their Agent XSites and Inspector XSites are real estate web sites that offer appraisers the ability to electronically attract lender clients and receive electronic appraisal orders.
They offer pre-built easily customized websites with tailored software for mortgage brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, appraisers, and inspectors.
a la mode is a privately held company that recently completed an expansion of its headquarters in Oklahoma City to accommodate a new data center and customer service department.
The new data center houses more than 100 servers dedicated to a la mode’s Mercury Network; its Vault online appraisal backup and file storage service; and its XSites websites.  Other services for real estate professionals offered by a la mode include: InterFlood flood maps, Vicinity street maps, and CertMail secure, virus-protected e-mail with no file size attachment limits.
The data center is supported by seven full-time MIS staff.   A diesel-powered backup generator protects a la mode customers from downtime in the event of a local power loss. The generator can power its entire 25,000 square-foot headquarters, including servers, when necessary.  Server storage capacity is more than 40 terabytes (TB), with 27 TB dedicated to the Vault.
Recent expansion also accommodates a la mode’s new customer service department. The new department brings sales, 24-hour technical support and customer retention under one umbrella, focusing on the needs of all users of a la mode services.
